About this piece
The decorative plate is the widest, flattest piece in the collection: 33 cm across, a broad surface meant only to be seen, not to serve food. "Prato" comes from Vulgar Latin plattus, "flat," itself from Greek platys — the same root as "plateau."

About this pattern
Against a deep, matte black background, concentric circles in neon colors—hot pink, purple, turquoise, lime green, yellow, and orange—seem to pulse with energy. The inspiration for this pattern is radial movement itself, explored in a dense, effervescent central composition where the colorful targets overlap. On the wide rim, large, dotted arcs frame the scene, accentuating the creation's dynamism. The hand-painted finish lends a delicate relief to the surface, an invitation for the eyes to linger.
