About this piece
The ball vase has the most literal name in the collection: a spherical body, 18 cm tall by 18 cm wide, resting on a small foot — "bola" comes from Vulgar Latin bulla, "bubble, small sphere," the same root as "balloon."

About this pattern
In this Bola Vase variation, an earthy and vibrant palette evokes natural landscapes and ancient mosaics. Upon the deep, matte brown base, the ceramist and painter Dani applies direct brushstrokes to create arcs of sun-yellow, turquoise, and orange. The pattern is organized in bands that embrace the spherical form, filled with concentric circles and rows of raised dots, which lend a tactile dimension to the creation. The composition’s rhythmic, solar energy makes this vase a magnetic sculptural piece, ideal for a centerpiece or console table, attracting both the eye and the touch. One of a kind, with Dani's mark on the base.
