About this piece
The ball vase has the most literal name in the collection: a spherical body, 18 cm tall by 18 cm wide, resting on a small foot — "bola" comes from Vulgar Latin bulla, "bubble, small sphere," the same root as "balloon."

Pattern 1: black-and-white stripes with colourful mandalas.
About this pattern
The graphic energy of vertical black-and-white stripes, with the black bands peppered with white dots, creates a dynamic background for overlapping, colourful mandalas. Applied dot by dot, they form concentric rings with a tactile relief in vibrant hues of red, orange, fuchsia, lime green, and blue. The piece's geometry inspires this circular motion, as if the designs were spinning on the spherical surface—a pattern finished at the mouth with a red beaded rim over a green frieze. This creation acts as a sculptural focal point on a credenza or coffee table, drawing the eye. One of a kind, with Dani's mark on the base.
