About this piece

The iris vase is a tall, slender piece, 26 cm tall by 12 cm wide, in the multicolor and earthy lines. The name comes from Greek îris, the name of the rainbow goddess and, by extension, the colored part of the eye — a direct reference to the terracotta "eyes" motif in one pattern, and to the multiplicity of color that defines the other.

Pattern 1: dotted with colourful rings.

About this pattern

Against a white background meticulously filled with fine black dots, vibrant rings float in shades of magenta, lime green, turquoise, orange, and purple. Smaller, solid circles in the same palette punctuate the composition, creating a playful dance of forms across the ceramic surface. Inspired by the multiplicity of colours found in a rainbow, this pattern envelops the vase's bulbous body and slender neck. The hand-painted surface has a matte finish that enhances the purity of each pigment, offering a rich visual texture that invites touch. Its chromatic energy makes it a joyful focal point, perfect for enlivening a console or shelf. One of a kind, with Dani's mark on the base.
