About this piece
The bottle is the only piece in the collection made of glass: 32 cm tall, a slender body, reclaimed from recycled glass and hand-repainted. The word comes from Arabic gharrafa, linked to the verb gharafa, "to draw water with the hands or with a ladle" — the same root as "garrafão" (demijohn).

One of a kindHand-painted recycled glass. Pattern 1: brown with blue and white bands.
About this pattern
In this version, the bottle's slender body is covered in textured brown paint, over which sinuous bands of a lighter shade serpentine towards the top. Within these bands, concentric circles in shades of sky blue, earthy brown, and white create a hypnotic pattern reminiscent of eyes or mandalas. The rest of the surface is filled with a raised pointillism, showcasing the precise gesture of the ceramist and painter, whose pulse guides the brush over the curved form. The creation stands out as a decorative focal point, drawing the eye with its rhythmic complexity and tactile richness. One of a kind, with Dani's mark on the base.
