About this piece

The pâté spreader is the only piece in the collection made of wood: 10 cm tall, a wide, curved blade meant for serving pâtés and spreads at the table. "Espátula" comes from Latin spathula, diminutive of spatha — the same root as "sword" — an old term for wide, flat blades used for spreading or scraping. "Patê," in turn, reached Portuguese through French pâté.

About this pattern

The collection's only wooden piece, this pâté spreader features a handle hand-painted with a pattern of white dots against a vibrant background—rich purple, teal, sunny yellow, or a gentle violet. Each handle is painted freehand, lending a subtle texture and distinct character to every creation. Inspired by the very act of serving, the pattern recalls the delicate marks left by the spreader on a piece of toast, a charming detail on an object designed to fit in your hand. It is a perfect addition to your appetizer setting, for serving spreads, soft cheeses, and pâtés with a touch of colour and sensibility. One of a kind, with Dani's mark on the base.
